The Three Stars of the Week:
1. 1. RW Max Pacioretty is the first Canadiens prospect to claim 1st Star of the Week for a second time in Hab’s Future and for the second consecutive week no less. Pacioretty continued his explosive season in the AHL with three goals and an assist in his three games played. Pacioretty now has eleven goals and fourteen assists over 21 games and is now fourth overall in league scoring in the AHL. His scoring totals are currently pacing to have him in the running for setting a Hamilton Bulldogs record in single-season scoring. The high-flying Pacioretty has had a hand in a remarkable sixty five percent his team’s scoring over his last 6 games as well.
2. G Karri Ramo continues to show near-flawless work in net this season for his KHL team Avangard Omsk. Ramo added two more wins to his record for the week including a shutout and has now won twelve of his last thirteen starts in goal. Ramo now enjoys a Goals Against Average of 1.91 and a .923 save percentage on his season and his GAA and save percentage for the week was an impeccable 1.00 and .973.
3. RW Phillippe Lefebvre rounds out the honours list by doing his best to pick up the slack with the Montreal Juniors while Louis Leblanc recovers from injury. Lefebvre had two goals and an assist in two games and was a +3 on the week, including claiming 1st star honours for scoring the 3rd goal and assisting on the game-winning goal in his team’s win over the Shawinigan Cataractes earlier in the week.
Special Honours: C Louis Leblanc, C Michael Bournival and RW Brendan Gallagher have been selected to attend the final camp for Canada's 2011 World Junior Championship Team.
Worthy Mentions: C Joonas Nattinen, a bubble prospect has two assists in his first two games back in the Finnish Junior League after returning from an achilles tendon injury. RW Alexander Avtsin had his first game-winning goal of the year in a win over the Binghamton Senators, it was his 3rd of the season. C David Desharnais does not intend to roll over in his race to repeat as the team’s scoring leader, he had a goal and two assists on the week to match fellow Bulldog Max Pacioretty in scoring on the season and is 7th overall in league scoring in the AHL. C Michael Bournival scored a goal and two assists over three games and breaking a two-game scoring slump. C Dustin Walsh had a goal and assist in his two games with Dartmouth Big Green over the weekend. RW Brendan Gallagher continues to maintain an impressive scoring pace with with two goals and an assist on his week, which has him at 6th overall in scoring in the WHL and 2nd in goals with 22 goals and 16 assists in 26 games.
Question Marks: RW Danny Kristo still having a serious scoring slump with only 5 points in 16 games this season. C Ben Maxwell has a day to day upper-body injury and has had issues with scoring for several weeks. C Ryan White has a knee injury that is currently expected to see him out of action for at least a couple of weeks. RW Aaron Palushaj has been dealing with a sore ankle again and has only one assist in his last five games, the same ankle problem that saw him out of action to start the season with Hamilton. C Louis Leblanc was scratched from action with his junior club this week as he recovers from an upper body injury suffered on November 6th, he had previously been trying to play through the injury without much success. RW Ian Schultz is still without a point in 12 games as a Hamilton Bulldog. D Jarred Tinordi has no points in the OHL in 18 games. D Alexei Yemelin was penalized twice for checking to the head in the KHL over 3 games and has been suspended. RW Steve Quailer, a bubble prospect does not appear to have recovered well from an ACL tear he suffered last year which saw him miss his 2nd season of NCAA hockey, he has only one point and is -6 over 13 games this season.

The AHL Report: The Hamilton Bulldogs have been the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens since 2002. It is the most common route for developing Montreal Canadiens prospects into full-time members of the organization.
